52 Books: Book 50


How is it that I am 31 years old and I am just now reading A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens? I have seen various movie versions of this story, but had never taken the time to read the classic book. I am so glad I did. It was a good reminder of what is important at this time of year. No bah humbugs here.

    Try being 40 and only just reading this book ! We have read this at the same time, I wish I had read the actual book though instead of the audio !

    Have to laugh. 52 here and I just read it for the first time last year. I think it's one of those books we assume everybody has read then find out not so much. No hum bugs here either. :)

    I think you are right Robin! I try to read several classics every year - ones I love AND ones that I feel like I should have read at some point in my life :)
