Home Remedy


Last night I was dicing a jalapeno for this chili recipe {not thinking about the cuts on my fingers}. After I had the chili cooking {in a crock pot as opposed to the stove}, I noticed a burning sensation in my fingers. After some googling, I discovered that dousing the cuts in rubbing alcohol would get rid of the stinging. So I tried it and sure enough, it worked. I am so remembering this for the future.

    That's great to know. I cook with hot peppers a lot, and I've done that to myself a few times!
